NOFFKE PARK

Public BBQ

Noffke Park in Bethania proves that good things come in compact packages. This tidy little park delivers where it counts - proper toilets (a refreshing change from some local spots), natural shade that actually works, and play equipment that'll keep older kids engaged rather than bored. The climbing structures favour confident climbers over toddlers, though the outdoor gym equipment seems to fascinate younger visitors regardless. What struck me most was how spotlessly clean the place remains - not a scrap of litter in sight during my visit. Dogs clearly love the open space for ball chasing, though owners should note it's unfenced territory. The natural shade provides genuine relief, and there's something wonderfully relaxed about settling down here with takeaway fish and chips. While the play equipment selection won't win awards for variety, the park's unpretentious charm and practical amenities make it a reliable family stop. Even teenagers seem to find ways to amuse themselves here, which speaks volumes about a place this size.
